*Some call them soldiers
but I call them heroes
They represent the red, white, and blue
they stand up strongly, united as one
& keep on fighting until the job is done
They are the men & women
giving their best to defend what they love
they defend their country & their people
they sacrifice so much
all for the freedom of our country
not knowing what the future holds
they pay the price
the price for freedom
for freedom after all is not truly free
it is paid by the contributions of our veterans
& because of them
we are able to live freely
These are the heroes that represent you and me*
for all the lost , living, and fighting...
