The Hills... Red Carpet Fashion! ♥

From Audrina Patridge and Kristin Cavallari's cute clutches
to Whitney Port's snakeskin Jimmy Choo booties
to the nude lips, wavy hair, and fabulous updos!

Kristin Cavallari wore a beige bandage-inspired dress with sequins by Zuhair Murad

Lo Bosworth wore a white dress by Tadashi Shoji

Holly Montag wore a white strapless dress with feather accents on the bust by Rami Kashou,
the Project Runway runner-up from season four

Stephanie Pratt wore a skin-tight blue bandage dress by Hervé Léger

Whitney Port wore a Matthew Williamson tank dress that featured cut-outs at the waist, with colors like blue, pink, yellow, red, and purple printed all over it.
& Miss Lauren Conrad wore a funky metalic dress with an amazing back by an unknown desinger!

AND my best picks for the night... were...

Holly & Kristin

I absolutely loved, loved, LOVED Holly's dress!

And I always LOVE what Audrina wears, but it just wasn't anything special,
which I was shocked by.
I think she went for the "sexy" look more than anything...
which hey I guess she is trying to get the attention of producers out there.

Who were your favs?

If you loved Holly's dress too, here's a link to the designers website: http://ramikashou.com/collections.html

A Hollywood Ending...

and that is exactly what it was...

In the final scene,
star Kristin Cavallari is shown on the street saying goodbye
to her former love Brody Jenner.
Cavallari has decided to go to Europe to "find herself." The two bid farewell, and the audience is treated to a montage of scenes from the entire series set to a remix of the show's theme song,
"Unwritten" by Natasha Bedingfield.  (which I LOVED by the way)

Then, Cavallari gets into the back of a black car that is presumably headed for the airport. Jenner watches mournfully as the car drives off into the distance.
But then the camera pans out to reveal a fake, Hollywood backdrop (as an MTV.com article describes it). As the background slips away, it appears as though at least some of the final scene has taken place not on a Los Angeles street corner, but on a studio set.

As camera operators and other production staff begin breaking down the set, Cavallari gets out of the sedan and into the arms of a waiting Jenner.
She was never going to the airport.
The entire scene was fake, and the status of the couple's relationship, if it ever even existed,
is now up in the air, along with the rest of the show's plotlines.

Like many contemporary TV finales, this one is open to interpretation.
"The Hills,"
which since 2006 has revolved around the minute and often banal details of the friendships and love lives of privileged twentysomethings, has been called fake since it began.
Audiences were already aware that the show's producers played a role in setting up confrontations.

It could be that the ending was a joke, just the show's producers winking at the audience. After all, as the credits roll, the camera continues to pan out until it's revealed that it's in a helicopter, and the final image looks down upon the 'Hollywood' sign as if to say, "Hey, it's Hollywood: Nothing in this town is totally real."

I, personally, loved the ending!
It fit the show perfectly,
because everyone was always gossiping if it was truly real or scripted!
Scripted or Real... I didn't really care...
(I mean what "reality show" out there is really a reality anyways)
I mainly watched for the fashion...
I loved tuning in every Tuesday night to see what outfits and shoes the girls were wearing!
And also for the music, they always had great music!
I mean HELLO they did have Miss Lady GaGa on the show before she made it BIG! :)
