On this day, 90 years ago,

Women finally got the right to vote!

On June 4th, 1919,

Congress, by joint resolution,

approved the woman's suffrage amendment and sent it to the states for ratification.

The House of Representatives had voted 304-89

and the Senate 56-25 in favor of the amendment.

today's cocktail was inspired by that!

*Cotton Candy Martini*

*Start by dipping the rim of your glass in grenadine, or drizzling it over the rim

& don't worry if some gets inside the glass- it's okay... it adds more flavor!

*Dip martini glass into sugar to coat the rim

- place your perfect sugar-coated rimmed martini glass aside

*Fill your cocktail shaker with...

*ICE

* 2 ounces of RASPBERRY Vodka

*1 ounce of CHAMBORD

* a splash of grenadine

**after shaking, add a splash of champagne!

*garnish with cotton candy!

(in &/or around martini glass)

& enjoy!
